The Power of 100: Together We Heal

The Power of 100 Campaign is a 100-day movement bringing together 100 women who each pledge $100 to invest in Black women’s wellness, healing, and empowerment.

On December 31, 1862, our enslaved ancestors gathered in churches, praying through the night in faith and anticipation that President Abraham Lincoln would sign the Emancipation Proclamation, declaring freedom for enslaved people in the states in rebellion. These gatherings became known as Watch Night Services and remain a powerful symbol of faith, hope, freedom, and collective strength.

In that same spirit of unity, the Power of 100 Campaign will conclude on December 31, 2026, with a special Watch Night Service honoring the historical significance of this tradition while thanking the women and supporters who contributed to the campaign. As our ancestors gathered in faith, hope, and unity, we too will come together in a spirit of gratitude, healing, community support, and collective empowerment.

As part of this celebration, women who contribute to the Power of 100 Campaign will also be invited to a special Celebratory Luncheon on December 19, 2026. This gathering will be an opportunity to celebrate our collective impact, connect in sisterhood, and recognize the women who have invested in the healing and wellness of our community. Additional luncheon details will be shared soon.

More About Center for Leadership of Afrikan Women's Wellness (CLAWW)

We are a healing circle dedicated to supporting Black women who have endured trauma, providing a nurturing environment for their healing journey. Our team comprises individuals with lived experiences, many of whom are certified peer specialists.

We prioritize creating a safe and confidential space for our community members. Through monthly community discussions, one-on-one peer support sessions, and educational workshops, we offer listening ears, resources, and opportunities for growth and healing within our community.
